Bulletin:  The Selene 53 was on the cover of the Jan/Feb 2004 issue of PassageMaker Magazine! A detailed article praised the design, construction, and attention to detail that marks Jet Tern.

Celebrate is a 53' Selene Pilothouse Trawler, built in 2002-03 by Jet-Tern Marine , sold to us by Marlow Marine in Snead Island, FL, and commissioned in April and May, 2003. Marlow's growth in it's own line, the larger Marlow Explorer , demanded such attention that a decision was taken to end its representation of Selene, as it had earlier done with Grand Banks.

In the summer of 2003, Ted Hood's Portsmouth (RI) Marine took over all East Coast distribution of the Selene line. This is no surprise given the strong hand Hood had, and still has, in the design and development of the Selene line. Portsmouth Marine has been completely responsive and responsible for dealing with the several nagging things that have to be adjusted associated with any new boat. We recommend this organization highly.
